This video installation brings a building – normally perceived as a static thing – into movement, by introducing dancers in its empty spaces. The artist confronts images of an improvisation by European dancers in a building in Brussels with the images of a similar performance by African dancers in a building in Kinshasa (Congo).
Kristin Rogghe graduated at Transmedia, the postgraduate department of art school Sint Lukas Brussels. Before that she studied philosophy in Leuven and Lisbon.
